Our Story

How We Met

Chris and Tina met at their mutual friend's wedding in 2005.  Little did they know at the time, what they thought was just a friendly dance would turn into a blooming romance.  They took each other's phone number and after a couple of days Chris got up the nerve to call.  Tina was ecstatic, but she wouldn't let him know that!  After the best two years of their lives they decided they wanted this relationship to last forever.

The Proposal

Not many people know it but Chris is a very romantic guy.  On our two-year anniversary, Chris suprised my with a ski trip to Vail, Colorado.  We both love to ski, and there's no place better than Colorado!  It was a beautiful sunny day and the conditions were perfect.  We spent a wonderful day on the slopes and then on the last ride up the lift I could tell he was acting a little nervous.  When we got to the top and skied off the lift he took a little fall (very unlike him) and asked for me to pull him up.  But as I reached out to him he got on one knee and asked me to marry him!  I nearly fell and spontaneously erupted in tears!  And, of course I said yes!  After our last trip down the mountain (which I can't even remember), Chris had a romantic dinner planned and a night listening to beautiful piano music at the King's Club in Vail Village.
