Often there are sales within a particular store that apply to national vendors, particularly at certain times of the year. If you are dealing with a custom invitation vendor who also has books be sure to ask how you can save on various printing methods (if that is what appeals to you) and they will be happy to offer some ideas.I often use (www.invitationimagination.com)a letterpress printer who does quality work at a much lower price than a national vendor might. Some large national vendors, not in the main stream, also discount their letterpress in one or more of their books. National vendors often require the retailer to carry a full compliment of their books as opposed to just one of them.
