The wedding industry is booming, do you want a piece of the pie? Here’s your chance. The Wedding Planning Institute provides wedding planner certification training online and has just announced that it is providing hands-on training at hundreds of colleges across the US. WPI’s certification is recognized by The Association for Wedding Professionals International. The hands-on training will allow students to assist at actual weddings, tour venues, and meet with professional wedding vendors.

Actually, I’d like to also recommend the Association of Bridal Consultants’ course. Not only is it a thorough course put together by consultants, but you have the support of state chapters, a state coordinator, and the national office. I’ve been a member since October, and the workshops and advice I’ve received have been wonderful. (Boy does this sound like a commercial or what.)
