Top 5 Wedding Blog Posts of the Week!

Hi everyone! It’s Friday once again! That means it’s time for this week’s Top 5 of the Wedding Blogs! I know I missed last week, sorry about that, just got busy…

Well this week we were again blessed with some great blog posts out there in the wedding blogosphere.

1. I want to start off with a post from Jasmine Star’s new blog. If you’ve been reading Our Wedding Plus you know Jasmine is our resident wedding photographer blogger but she also runs her own awesome blog too. This week she wrote about an awesome idea, having an Engagement Photo Book put together and used as your wedding guest book. Check out her post to see what I’m talking about.

2. This one doesn’t come from a wedding blog but a healthcare blog. revolutionhealth is a great site if you need any kind of medical information and they also have a great blog run by doctors. It provides a great opportunity to interact with healthcare professionals if you have any questions! Well, I had the unique opportunity of taking part in a telecon discussion with two of their fine doctors, Dr. Val Jones and Dr. Foster concerning wedding health, covering both mental and physical. It was recorded and once it is edited I’ll share this discussion with you, so stay tuned! But for now checkout Dr Jones’ post “10 Tips for a Healthy Wedding.”

3. The Hostess with the Mostess blog featured a great article by Harmony Walton, owner of the Bridal Bar in LA. Harmony’s article has a great rundown of how to integrate eco-friendly aspects into your wedding from choosing the location to picking party favors. Weddings can be a big drain on the environment so it’s important that we pay attention to the environment in our planning.

4. Okay Ladies, why do we do this to ourselves? You don’t see your fiancé stressed out and crying over the wedding plans. Remember, your wedding doesn’t have to be and I’ll let you in on a secret, it’s not going to be perfect. We are reminded of this by Never teh Bride over at Manolo for the Brides in her post “Your “perfect day”” check it out and also checkout True Bride Confessions it might help you put things in perspective!

5. Don’t want kids at your wedding? Ooohhh…that can be a tough one. You know what’s going to happen. Someone is going to ask if you can make an acceptation, and if you make one then it’s going to cause all kinds of problems. Want to know how to handle it according to etiquette? Checkout Event Ethos’ post “Q & A – No Children Allowed!”

Hope you have a great weekend!
