Top-5 Wedding Blog Posts of the Week!
July 13th, 2007 | Blogosphere
Hi everyone! It’s time for the Top-5 wedding blog posts of the week! This week I got a couple posts for those of you interested in the 7-7-07 phenomena. I wrote about it yesterday in my post 7-7-07…A day that will live in wedding infamy! Here are some others…
1. Thanks again to Weddingbee’s Weekly Roundup I found this article on SFGate.com called Lucky Sevens.
2. Here’s a good one from Bridal Bar Blog. She provides a link to a photo album in Time magazine shot by Laura Kleinhenz the owner of Docuvitae Photography and Super 8. I wrote about Docuvitae a few months ago and their use of Super 8 in wedding videography. I love the pictures she took for Time especially #5 of 21. What a great a romantic story, check it out!
The next two have to do with my cupcake obsession!
3. I wrote about Vanilla Bake Shop earlier this week in my post creatively titled Vanilla Bake Shop. I must admit I’ve been obsessing about this place and all I think about is when I will be able to go down there and chow down on their great treats. I might have to save some room for some of that Dirt Cake they got in the Mason Jars! Anyway, they were also written about in this post by one of my favorite blogs, Cupcakes Take the Cake too, and the best part is they mentioned me! Check it out, I made the big time!
4. Sticking with my favorite topic, cupcakes, lets go to the east coast where Pink Cake Box in NJ posted some great pictures of their latest work. A 7-tiered cupcake tower for a wedding on…you guessed it…7-7-07. Check out this beauty in Pink Cake Box’s post Wedding Cupcake Garden.
5. And finally, here’s one that might help you out. Make sure when you send those Save the Dates that you include the year! I’m not sure if this is really a true story but if it is that’s quite a big oops! Check out Anne Chertoff’s post Save the Date & Year.
Well have a good weekend and be careful today, how ironic that less than a week ago it was the luckiest day in a long time and now it’s Friday the 13th!

I write the bridal blog ‘From “I Will” to “I Do”‘ and came across this post. I just wanted to write that the story about the guest showing up at the wedding a year early is true! I read about it on CNN, but unfortunately the link is no longer working. The guest lives in Canada and the wedding was in England.
Hi Anne! Thanks for visiting my blog! I love your blog and iVillage too!
Thanks for the comment! Hope you come back in the future.
