Why not wear them for the ceremony, too? Or find comfortable heels. Try shoes built for ballroom dancers to find a great combo of comfort and pizzazz.

I think my biggest problem with changing from heels to flats at the reception is that the gown is hemmed for your heels. If you wear three-inch heels for the ceremony and then change into flats for the reception, your gown will suddenly be too long, potentially leading to bridal pratfalls on the dance floor.

What an addorable shoe! Most ballet shoes we see brides wear are not fashionable or stylish. Hence, discouraging a bride from wearing them for pictures. These shoes on the other hand can be worn throughout the entire wedding, so a bride wouldn’t have to worry about changing into another pair for the reception. Great find!

Flats can be just as uncomfortable if you haven’t broken them in. I always wear shoes around my house before a big event just to be sure.
